How Much will it cost?

The initial assessment is $145, and individual or couples psychotherapy sessions are $130.00 per 50-minute session. We strive to make therapy affordable for you, so keep reading for information about the forms of payment we accept.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept the following forms of insurance:

• Aetna
• Blue Cross Blue Shield GA
• Cigna
• Optum
• United Healthcare
• Health Care Savings Accounts
• Flexible Spending Accounts

Please note that using your insurance benefits requires a medical diagnosis to be filed with the Medical Information Bureau. As a result, this diagnosis becomes part of your permanent medical records and can be used to determine future eligibility for insurance. Because of this, Healthcare Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) offer a convenient way to pay for health services while also keeping your information private.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel an appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance, which is defined as one business day. Please be aware that failure to cancel without 24 hours notice will result in a charge equal to 100% of the session fee. This fee is your responsibility and will not be billed to insurance. In addition, no further appointments will be scheduled until the cancellation fee has been reconciled.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and credit. Furthermore, payment can be made online or at the time of service.

Will my information be kept private?

Under the US Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), your personal information must be treated with special care. Specifically, federal and state law specifies that you as the individual in treatment hold privilege regarding the release of your information. However, state law permits confidentiality to be broken in rare situations, such as to report a reasonable suspicion of child or elder abuse, or an intention to harm oneself or another person. Additionally, private health insurance has access to information in order to process financial claims.
